The climate change station is installed on the Stenella, a zero-emission solar and electric boat that contributes to the scientific campaign during the regatta. This year the regatta continues the work of real-time monitoring of the Bay of Palma, analyzing the environmental impacts during the 42nd Copa del Rey Mapfre. At the end of the regatta, the data collected will be compared with that of previous editions to obtain a comprehensive view of the state of the bay. Several monitoring instruments are implemented on board Stenella, including an autonomous air quality station and environmental sensors that collect data on pollutants, particulate matter and CO2 emissions, as well as a meteorological data station.
