"It is projected that sea levels in the Mediterranean will rise in the coming decades, increasing the risk of flooding on 37% of the coast."
The Mediterranean Sea provides priceless ecological, economic, social, and food security to humanity.

Unfortunately, marine life is being threatened by the climate crisis, acidification, pollution, and invasive species, and needs urgent protection. Our time to make a difference is narrowing, and it's imperative that we act immediately to restore the bond between humanity and nature. We can achieve this through actions grounded in scientific research and supported by cutting-edge technologies.

Through our program, we strive to contribute ethically, sustainably, and responsibly to our Balearic community and to the protection of our natural surroundings, thus giving back to the Mediterranean what we take from it.
Our ultimate goal is to create a lasting positive impact.
Program objectives
Our purpose is to drive solutions to the Mediterranean's most urgent challenges by championing ocean health, literacy, and rights.
We picture a Mediterranean Sea that is safeguarded and sustainable, elevating the well-being of our current generation and preserving this invaluable legacy for generations to come.
Strategies
01
Health
Participate, collaborate and execute scientific monitoring and research missions focused on the biodiversity and ecosystems of the Mediterranean and their habitats. This allows us to understand in depth the challenges these ecosystems face and formulate impactful conservation strategies.
02
Literacy
Provide a series of educational and training programs for both children and adults, designed to improve Mediterranean literacy and ocean science-based knowledge to foster a love of the Mediterranean.
03
Rights
Raise public opinion about the environmental impact in the Mediterranean through media campaigns, public events and collaboration with other organizations. Advocate and promote greater environmental protection and policies at local, national and international levels.
